Blue Lagoon Aqua is the only SPF Monodon shrimp hatchery in Sri Lanka, proudly providing 80% of the country’s shrimp farms with premium-quality baby shrimp. With roots that stretch to Thailand, where we source our parent shrimps, and a team enriched by two experienced Indian consultants, our hatchery produces an incredible 20-30 million shrimp babies every month. Fueled by passion and we’re not just building a business – we’re shaping the future of Sri Lanka’s shrimp industry.
